Phoenix, AZ (10/29/2015) – Davidson Belluso has been selected by Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) for a campaign to increase awareness for dog owners of the importance of licensing their dogs. The campaign will consist of digital marketing, traditional media, and various print collateral, encouraging responsibility in dog owners to license their pets, therefore, minimizing the chances of getting lost and never making it back home.

“The work Maricopa County Animal Care & Control does in our community is imperative in decreasing the number of unwanted pets filling our shelters, said Michela Belluso, owner at Davidson Belluso and Board Member for The Arizona Pet Project (formerly Friends of Animal Care & Control), a nonprofit organization that raises funds to provide free spay and neuter services in our community. “It is encouraging to see the positive results in declining numbers each year, and it’s an honor to join them in their fight.”

Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) exists to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and protect pets from abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Their new approach to delivering animal care and control services reflects the delicate balance that exists between animal welfare and animal control. License fees for this campaign help fund MCACC’s services to the community including adoption programs, shelters, reuniting pets with their owners, spay and neuter surgeries to prevent more unwanted pets, dog licenses, rabies vaccinations, and community outreach.
