Phoenix, AZ (02/06/2015) – Davidson Belluso, a full-service advertising and digital agency, announced today that it has acquired Papagalos Strategic Communications, also a full-service advertising agency. The acquisition strengthens Davidson Belluso’s expertise in its core market segments: economic development, education, healthcare, tourism, and homebuilding. It also provides Davidson Belluso with the resources and capacity to expand into Papagalos’ niche markets, including outdoor recreation, commercial construction, financial, and technology.

Davidson Belluso and Papagalos’ combined local and national client roster includes CVS/Health, the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, Tempe Tourism Office, the City of Phoenix Community & Economic Development, SunTek Window Films, Tutor Perini Building Corp., McMillan Group International, Targas, Rainier and the Walsh Group.

Born and raised in Chicago, Rob has 25+ years experience in branding and advertising, having worked for several firms throughout the country including Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, BBDO, J. Walter Thompson, Chiat Day and E.B. Lane Marketing Communications. Throughout his career, he developed campaigns for national and international accounts such as Hyatt Resorts, Motorola, Panasonic, McDonald’s, Toshiba, Sears, Allstate Insurance and Target. In 2001 Rob cofounded Davidson Belluso and has personally managed several key accounts for the agency including Tempe Tourism Office, California Bank & Trust, Arizona Attorney General and Phoenix Biomedical Campus for the City of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department. A commercial rated pilot, Rob is passionate about flying and donates his time to the Civil Air Patrol.
