Phoenix, AZ (6/15/2015) – Davidson Belluso, a full-service advertising agency and digital firm, announced today that it has been selected by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Bureau of Nutrition and Physical Activity to provide marketing strategy and execution for the 2015-2017 Health in Policy and Practice Communication Plan.

The contract is to develop a robust and engaging action plan to promote Health Impact Assessments and to ensure “Health in All Policies” and advocacy efforts for livable communities are being considered at decision-making levels throughout Arizona. In addition to strategic consultation, Davidson Belluso will also deliver creative concepts and design a full suite of marketing materials to be applied to community outreach and training.

“I am delighted we will be working together on this project. We are very much looking forward to digging into the strategy together and are excited about the creative expertise Davidson Belluso brings to the table,” says Sharon Saas, Communications Manager, ADHS Bureau of Nutrition and Physical Activity.

The Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Nutrition and Physical Activity, (ADHS) has received grant funding from PEW Charitable Trusts. This grant focuses efforts on Health Impact Assessments (HIAs), as well as developing a robust, self-supporting HIA program to develop a model for integrating health in transportation planning and project studies; providing technical assistance resources; and supporting specific policies that require a consideration of health in future decisions.
