Born and raised in Chicago, Rob has over 35 years of experience in branding and advertising. He started his career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director for several advertising agencies across the country, including Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, BBDO, J. Walter Thompson, Chiat Day, and E.B. Lane Marketing Communications (now LaneTerralever). Throughout the years, Rob has worked on the creative development of marketing campaigns for national and international brands, including Hyatt Resorts, Motorola, Panasonic, McDonald’s, Toshiba, Sears, Allstate Insurance, and Target.
In 2001, Rob co-founded Davidson Belluso with his wife, Michela Belluso, with a focus on driving positive change by helping advance the public sector through successful marketing campaigns and solid, long-lasting partnerships.
During his 25+ years at the agency, Rob has worked on several marketing and advertising campaigns for finance and technology clients, personally managing the strategic and creative development for several accounts, including California Bank & Trust, STMicroelectronics, Avnet, Imaging Endpoints, and Motorola. More recently, Rob led the strategic positioning for state clients such as the Arizona Office of the Attorney General, the Colorado Division for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deafblind, and the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office.
He has also been directly involved in overarching rebranding efforts for various economic development and healthcare entities, including the Tempe Tourism Office, the Phoenix Biomedical Campus for the City of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department, the Phoenix Convention Center & Venues, Sun Health, Abrazo Health, and the City of Mesa Falcon Field Airport.
Today, Rob leads the new business development efforts for the agency, manages the strategic planning of clients’ accounts, oversees the agency’s operations, and ensures that its performance continually meets and exceeds our clients’ expectations by delivering measurable results.
As a commercial-rated pilot, Rob is passionate about flying and has contributed many volunteer hours to the Civil Air Patrol. As a black belt in Karate, he is also passionate about all things martial arts. When he is not working on managing the agency, Rob enjoys riding his Harley, cycling around town, and spending time with his wife, his teenage daughter, and their two rescue dogs.
