Madison School District
One of the top elementary school districts in Arizona, Madison School District, and its eight schools, consistently earns high honors. Following the vacancy of its Marketing Director, the District sought a firm with strong media connections and educational experience to capitalize on and communicate to the community, media and general public what makes this top-achieving elementary school district so distinct. Increased educational competitors also necessitated the need for prospective families in the area to clearly understand Madison’s differentiators.
Following research and analysis, competitive analysis and a collaborative strategic planning session with District leadership, Davidson Belluso worked with the Superintendent, District’s internal marketing team and the principals at each school. Together they identified public relations opportunities that supported strategic key messages that would help meet communication and operational goals. D/B worked with the schools to enhance or restructure existing activities and create new opportunities to accommodate media timeframes and visual needs. Additionally, social media was used as a powerful communication vehicle to target specific zip codes, needs and interests.
The initial campaign timeline was for 10 months and included Open Enrollment, the new Madison ESD Performing Arts Center groundbreaking ceremony and the start of the 2017 Fall Semester. D/B exceeded client expectations and was retained for ongoing marketing, public relations and social media strategic services.
