Arizona Department of Environmental Quality
The Voluntary Vehicle Repair Program (VVRP) is a state-administered initiative under the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), in partnership with Maricopa and Pima Counties. The program provides financial assistance to qualifying Arizona residents whose vehicles failed emissions testing to help them pay for repairs and meet state emissions requirements. Our agency planned and executed a multichannel, bilingual outreach campaign to improve engagement, boost participation, and help reach the program’s goal of repairing 1,500 vehicles every year, while supporting ADEQ’s broader mission of reducing vehicle emissions and improving air quality statewide.
