Born in West Africa to Italian parents, Michela traveled the world before settling in the United States. A graduate of the University of Miami and The Miami Ad School, Michela worked as an Art Director at leading advertising agencies, including Fallon, DDB Worldwide, Crispin Porter Boguski, and Carmichael Lynch. In the late ’90s, she joined Phoenix-based ad agency E.B. Lane Marketing Communications (now LaneTerralever), where she met her husband, Rob Davidson.
In 2001, Michela and Rob founded Davidson Belluso, driven by their passion for helping the public sector make a positive impact on the world we live in through successful marketing initiatives and long-lasting partnerships.
Michela brings over two decades of expertise in economic development, government, education, and healthcare marketing. Early in her career, she led the comprehensive rebranding of several entities, including Sky Harbor International Airport, the Phoenix Biomedical Campus for the City of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department, and Glendale Community College. She has since transitioned to overseeing the agency’s financial and operational management while remaining actively involved in strategic planning for city, county, and state clients, including the Tempe Tourism Office, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, and the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Over the past 25 years, Michela has built Davidson Belluso into one of the most respected marketing, advertising, and interactive firms in the Southwest. She has fostered a culture of collaboration and creativity that attracts top talent to every position.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, she has lent her time and expertise to several nonprofit boards and marketing committees, supporting organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Arts & Business Council of Greater Phoenix, and The Arizona Pet Project.
Michela also took to the dance floor, winning the Dancing for Arizona’s Children competition and raising critical funds for the Arizona Children’s Association’s foster and adoption programs. Outside of her work, Michela is passionate about the arts, fitness, the great outdoors, and spending time with her family and their two rescue dogs.
