Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

One of the busiest airports in the nation, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has undergone major renovations to accommodate an increasing number of travelers. Its standardized city brand was no longer enough to communicate the identity of such a major force in the international travel community. Working closely with the Aviation Department and several city officials and committees, we developed a new mark for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and its affiliated airports. We also created graphic standards for all aviation marketing material, making it easier for airport employees and vendors alike to maintain a unified and consistent corporate identity.

THE RESULT

The new logo and brand identity has landed Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport a distinct and recognizable brand, viewed by more than 100,000 passengers a day. In 2006, the new Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport logo identity and “My Airport” print advertising campaign won national recognition by receiving the Airports Council International - North America’s Excellence in Marketing & Communications award.
